Appointed to World Association for Symphonic Bands and Ensembles "Conductor Development Program"

William V. Johnson, president of the World Association for Symphonic Bands and Ensembles (WASBE), has appointed me to the leadership team as a program member for the Conductor Development Program. Together we will develop a comprehensive list of conducting seminars and workshops from throughout the world, organize and implement a series of conducting workshops and/or rehearsal master classes at the Utrecht WASBE conference, provide developing wind band programs with expert WASBE guest conductors, submit articles in WASBE World concerning conducting and rehearsal techniques, and continue to develop The WASBE International Conductor Scholarship Program which offers international exchange opportunities for selected conductors.

It will be an honor to serve with Dr. Gregg Hanson (University of Arizona), board members Miguel Etchegoncelay (Argentina/France), Dennis Johnson (USA), Colleen Richardson (Canada), Dario Sotelo (Brazil) and program chair, Albert Roque (Portugal).  I'm so grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with these internationally distinguished professionals.
